FundingTicks closed in January. We still listed it — here is our correction

PropFirm Beacon research desk · Published

FundingPips announced the wind-down of its futures firm on 19 January 2026. Our Funding Ticks pages are now marked as historical, joining OANDA Prop Trader.

The closure

On 19 January 2026, FundingPips announced it was 'winding down FundingTicks' operations' as a strategic decision, TradeInformer reported. FundingTicks had launched in July 2025. The company said it was refunding traders who had paid for challenges and would pay traders who were at the funded stage.

According to TradeInformer, the firm ran into trouble in December 2025: it was removed from Prop Firm Match after a sudden rule change breached existing traders without compensation. Finance Magnates reported that Master accounts that had met their objectives would receive an 80% split, and those that had not, 20%.

Our mistake

During our November rule audit we could not read FundingTicks' current rules, and we reported that its entry was unverified. The reason was that the firm no longer operates. We should have found this sooner. The Funding Ticks review, rule pages and comparisons now say it is closed, and the closure is in our rule-change tracker.

This is the second firm in our dataset to close in 2026, after OANDA Prop Trader in April. Both are kept as historical records so that old links still explain what happened.

If you had an account
