Same 50k account, three different payout gates: LucidFlex, Pro and Direct

PropFirm Beacon research desk · Published

Five qualifying days, a balance buffer or a 20% consistency test: the account name changes what a trader must achieve before requesting a payout.

Compare the funded stage, not a firm-wide average

Our review of Lucid’s dedicated payout policies separates the $50,000 Flex, Pro and Direct plans. These are different account routes with different eligibility tests. A firm-wide payout summary cannot capture them safely, and a rule advertised for evaluation should not automatically be applied to the funded stage.

The figures below describe the policies reviewed on 31 October 2026. They are not observed trader results, a ranking of payout reliability or a guarantee of approval. Purchase prices are excluded because the payout documents are not verified checkout-price evidence.

Flex: qualifying days and a share-of-profit cap

For LucidFlex 50k, the policy requires five qualifying days with at least $150 profit each, a positive cycle result and a request limited to 50% of profit, up to $2,000. The minimum request is $500. A largest-day percentage test is not listed in these funded-stage payout criteria; that is not the same as claiming that no other restrictions exist.

The 50%-of-profit request cap is different from a 50% consistency test. It restricts the requested amount, not the share of total profit made on one day. Confusing the two can produce a wrong calculator result even when both use the same percentage.

Pro: a buffer and a 40% consistency test

The LucidPro 50k policy lists a $500 cycle profit goal plus funds above the $52,100 buffer and a 40% consistency test. A first $500 request requires at least a $52,600 balance. Requesting the first-cycle maximum of $2,000 requires $54,100 under the reviewed policy.

A trader with a $900 largest profitable day needs at least $2,250 cycle profit to meet the 40% test: $900 ÷ 0.40. That calculation alone does not show that the balance buffer has been cleared or that the request can be approved. Each gate needs its own check.

Direct: no evaluation, but still payout objectives

LucidDirect is a simulated straight-to-funded route rather than an evaluation-to-funded account. For 50k, the first-cycle objective is $3,000, later cycles use $2,500, and the largest-day consistency limit is 20%. With the same $900 best day, the consistency threshold is $4,500, twice the Pro example.

The dedicated policy caps requests one through three at $2,000 each and requests four and five at $2,500 each. Its wording conflicts with the funded-account overview’s description of no simulated payout caps. Our comparison keeps this conflict visible and recommends written clarification before purchase.

What the three plans share — and what remains unknown

The reviewed payout material lists a $500 minimum request and disbursement within two business days after approval. Neither means a trader is guaranteed a withdrawal after two trading days. Eligibility, approval and bank arrival are separate events.

Use the account comparison to keep the policies side by side and the consistency calculator to test the mathematical gate. Then check your agreement for account vintage, additional conditions and the terms in effect when you purchased. Published policies establish what the firm says, not independently verified payout performance.
