What the offer actually is

Goat Funded Trader's public offer is an evaluation product, not a deposit account. The fee buys access to a simulated account with a defined profit target and loss limit; clearing it converts you to a funded account paying up to 95% of simulated profit. The offer is a single-phase evaluation. You clear one profit target inside the loss buffer, then move to a funded account — no verification phase, no second fee.

Drawdown is the term that decides whether the offer is good value for your style. Goat Funded Trader uses a static loss limit measured from the starting balance, so banked profit permanently widens your room. A consistency requirement applies: applies on instant and one-step plans.

Entry can drop to the low $30s during promotions, making it one of the cheapest routes to a funded forex account. Because discounting is near-constant, paying list price is almost always a mistake — wait for the cycle.

Account sizes and modelled pricing

Modelled from the firm's published entry price using the sub-linear scaling curve the category uses. Treat these as planning figures for comparison, not quotes.

Is the offer worth it? The break-even maths

Take the 50k account as the reference. Modelled list price is $70. At a 95% split you keep $950 of every $1,000 in simulated profit, so the offer breaks even at roughly $74 of gross profit on the funded account — before you have earned anything.

Multiply that by your realistic pass rate. If you expect to clear the evaluation one time in three, the true cost of a funded 50k account is closer to $210, and break-even moves to about $222 in gross profit. That number, not the discount percentage, is the one to compare across firms.

The offer is only good value if you can survive the drawdown mechanic. On a static drawdown, the practical buffer on a 50k account is around 10% — treat that as your maximum campaign risk, not the number you trade up to.
