See live Maven Trading pricingWhat the offer actually is
Maven Trading's public offer is an evaluation product, not a deposit account. The fee buys access to a simulated account with a defined profit target and loss limit; clearing it converts you to a funded account paying up to 80% of simulated profit. The offer is a two-phase evaluation. Phase one carries the larger profit target, phase two a smaller one, and both share the same loss limits. You only pay once; the second phase is included.
Drawdown is the term that decides whether the offer is good value for your style. Maven Trading uses a trailing limit that follows your intraday equity high, so unrealised profit permanently raises your stop-out floor even if you give it back. A consistency requirement applies: applies at withdrawal — not clearly disclosed until payout time.
At roughly $13 for the cheapest evaluation, Maven undercuts almost the entire industry on sticker price. That price is genuinely useful if your goal is a cheap first attempt at passing an evaluation, but factor in that the effective earnings ceiling described in independent reviews may make it a poor venue for your primary funded account.
Account sizes and modelled pricing

Is the offer worth it? The break-even maths
Take the 50k account as the reference. Modelled list price is $30. At a 80% split you keep $800 of every $1,000 in simulated profit, so the offer breaks even at roughly $38 of gross profit on the funded account — before you have earned anything.
Multiply that by your realistic pass rate. If you expect to clear the evaluation one time in three, the true cost of a funded 50k account is closer to $90, and break-even moves to about $114 in gross profit. That number, not the discount percentage, is the one to compare across firms.
The offer is only good value if you can survive the drawdown mechanic. On intraday trailing drawdown, the practical buffer on a 50k account is around 10% — treat that as your maximum campaign risk, not the number you trade up to.
